He's been compared to such formidable talents as Jon Bon Jovi, Richard Marx and Steve Perry of Journey. Influenced by all these singers and songwriters Chad Steele has melted all these
together to form his own unique voice. He can melt the girls heart with his soft, sensual voice in his ballads or get them on there feet with his in your face rock/pop beats. The stage is just another home sweet home for Chad and
that's where his heart is.
Chad began singing at the age of six and was writing his own songs at the age of twelve. His first song "I KNOW OUR LOVE IS GONE" was in rotation on the local radio
station KIMN. Being so young Chad was interviewed by local T.V and other talk radio programs. Since then Chad has been the
front man of several local bands, Surrender and most recently CODA. Chad and Surrender put out there fist CD that
locally did very well in the nightclubs and record stores, selling all 2,000 copies with in two months. Chad left Surrender to begin work on his solo project "FOR YOU". He finished the CD in the summer of 96 just as he joined CODA. Six months later the boy's were opening up for major acts as
Hall and Oats (twice), Pat Benetar, Survivor, The Guess Who, Eddie
Money, Starship with Mickey Thomas and others.
Chad is now working on his second album with veteran engineer/producer Steve
Avidis. Avedis has worked with a multitude of major labels including Columbia, Capital, and MCA records and counts
NSYNC, Grammy award winning Tony
Bennet ( for which recognition was awarded with a gold record) and
Air Supply among his many clients. With these two amazing talents the future is endless.
Songs like 'WISHING YOU WERE HERE', and 'THROUGH NEW EYES', which are two of the three singles on Chad
Steele's new album, you can feel his soft tender side, or the release of
'LOOK AT ME NOW', to hear that in your face power behind his voice. Which ever song you listen to you can feel and hear this amazing talent that begins with
Chad Steele.
